Boating

  • The Mammoth Lakes Trail System connects more than a dozen subalpine and alpine lakes, providing opportunities that range from kayaking to canoeing to puttering around a distant shore in an outboard-driven dinghy or aluminum pontoon boat. Don't have your own craft? There are small marinas and boat docks at Convict Lake, Twin Lakes, Lake Mary and Lake George, as well as a number of independent outfitters and shops in town, all offering hourly, half-day, and full-day watercraft rentals and guided trips throughout the summer season.
