Whitmore Ballfields

  • On Benton Crossing Road, just off Highway 395, the Town/County-operated Whitmore Recreation Area features a regulation baseball diamond, two softball fields, drinking water, restrooms and lights for night games. With dramatic views of Mt. Tom, Crowley Lake, the Upper Owens River Valley, the Glass Range and the White Mountains, plus the smell of sage in the air, it’s hard to imagine a more spectacular setting for America’s favorite pastime. Visit the Local Recreation Resources page for more information.
