Winter Access Corridor - Lake Mary Loop 1.9 mi

  • The Lake Mary Loop Winter Public Access Corridor, open only to cross-country skiers, and snowshoers, runs along a gradually rolling, groomed trail that winds through the lodgepole pine forest around the shores of Lake Mary. The trail starts and ends from separate points along the main Lakes Basin Public Access Corridor, affording spectacular views across the white surface of the lake to Crystal Crag, the Mammoth Crest, and the backside of Mammoth Mountain. There are a number of fine picnic spots along the way for warm, sunny days. Stay out of the fee-based set nordic tracks and watch for fast-moving skate skiers.
