Lake George Campground

  • Crystal Crag and the Mammoth Crest loom above Lake George, providing a dramatic atmosphere for a camping escape. The Lake George Campground has 16 standard non-electric campsites, each with a picnic table, fire ring with grill and a bear box. Jeffrey and lodgepole pines shade the campground and bald eagles are often seen soaring high above. Lake George is a popular spot for fishermen, who enjoy casting a line from shore. Hiking trails depart from the campground and head to Crystal Lake and TJ and Barrett Lakes, which also connect with a network of trails. Campsites are walk-in only and do not take reservations.
