All of the Trails

  • Mono County is asking anyone who is not a primary resident of Mammoth Lakes or providing essential services to our residents NOT to visit Mammoth Lakes for the time being. Thank you for understanding. Please Click Here for Information about the COVID-19 Response in Mono County.

US Forest Service facilities and all ski areas are currently closed.

Multi-use paths around the downtown area and Old Mammoth are open. Visit the Parks & Recreation Facilities Update Page for the latest information.

The Mammoth Lakes Trail System comprises some 300 miles of soft-surface, paved, and mixed-surface trails and connects to the extensive Inyo National Forest off-highway road network, accommodating interests ranging from motorized pursuits to wilderness experiences. Out-and-back exploration, linking from trail to trail, and loop opportunities abound; be sure to navigate around the map below for an overview of how the MLTS connects its whole spectrum of users to the places and activities they love, no matter what the season.
