Do you have Biking Experiences you'd like to share? Find out How!

  • This classic out-and-back ride is a favorite after-work ride for Mammoth locals—all uphill on the way out, all downhill on the way back. Starting at the Welcome Center, climb Main Street or Forest Trail to Minaret Road. From the Village, Minaret Road (Highway 203) climbs westward along the north side of Mammoth Mountain, past Main Lodge with its restrooms and summer amenities, all the way to the spectacular Minaret Vista point just above the road summit. Enjoy the iconic views of the Ritter Range and the Upper San Joaquin Valley before undertaking the grand, fast descent all the way back to town.
