Walking the Town Loop and Manzanita Street

Do you have Hiking Experiences you'd like to share? Find out How!

  • This short, easy walk covers mostly flat to gently rolling terrain and affords an experience of one of Mammoth's most dynamic and vibrant neighborhoods. From the end of the Town Loop Path on the north side of Main Street, cross over and walk up along the Frontage Road to Callahan and the Lodestar Connector path. From here to Meridian, along the backside of the Sierra Star Golf Course, this is one of the “secret sections” of the Town Loop, and a very likely place to glimpse a black bear grazing on the grass. At Meridian, walk downhill to Manzanita Street for a winding stroll along side streets back to Main Street.
